September 21, 2015, is the final day of a fantastic season for the Splash Pad at E.A. Friesen Park. City of Steinbach Parks and Rec staff will then shut down the facility and begin the process to winterize and preserve it for next season.
This was the first full season for the facility. From the first day the water was turned on, the park has been a popular spot for families to enjoy summer weather.
The park will re-open in June 2016 as weather permits.
