On January 11 at approximately 6:20pm Steinbach RCMP were dispatched to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 52 West and Road 38 East.
Police investigation revealed that a black SUV was traveling north on Road 38 East, approaching Highway 52, when the driver proceeded through the intersection and collided with a van traveling west on Highway 52.
RCMP report that three people from the van were checked by EMS on scene and released. The male driver and lone occupant of the SUV, was taken to Bethesda Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The collision is still under investigation.
