The Headingley RCMP advise that the body of a female located in the RM of Rosser, has been positively identified as 17-year-old, Cherisse Houle of Winnipeg.
An autopsy has been performed, however the cause of death remains undetermined. Houle was reported missing to the Winnipeg Police Service on June 26, 2009. The Winnipeg RCMP Serious and Major Crime Units continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding her death.
Anyone with information regarding Cherisse Houle’s whereabouts on or after June 26, are asked to contact the Headingley RCMP Detachment at 888-0358 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
