Watershed residents in the Seine-Rat River Conservation District (SRRCD) are eligible for a subsidized RM water testing program for private wells. The cost of testing for E. Coli and Total Coliform bacteria is $21.26 per sample.
The SRRCD will pick up your water sample on the RM water testing day and bring it to Horizon Lab in Winnipeg. The lab will test your sample and send the results directly to you.
Water bottles and application forms can be picked up in advance at your local participating RM office. Fill out the two forms and follow the sampling instructions provided. Water samples must be taken on the RM water testing day. Bring your sample and completed forms to your local RM office before 11am or 10am in Vassar. Payment may be provided by cash or cheque made payable to Horizon Lab Ltd.
