The Ste- Anne Hospital Fund second annual Health Walk was able to surpass a $25,000 fundraising goal this past weekend, raising $28,900 that will go towards the purchase of specialized equipment.

The Health Walk took place this past weekend at the Ste-Anne Hospital and attracted 125 participants of all ages. The event included a four kilometre family walk, followed by a picnic lunch with outdoor activities for all ages, including the chance to visit a Fire Truck and Ambulance.
With the generous support of community members and corporate sponsors, the event was a major success, raising an impressive $28,900. The Health Walk was a great opportunity for the young and not so young to enjoy a family walk while contributing to the Ste-Anne Hospital Fund. The community truly rallied together to support quality patient care in the region.
All proceeds of the event will go towards the improvement of the Ste-Anne Hospital’s services and equipment, specifically, the purchase of specialized equipment for the brand new operating ward.
