On December 11, 2008 at 5:30 a.m., the Fisher Branch RCMP responded to an alarm at the Buckskin Trading Post.
One adult male and two youths were still inside the store when RCMP arrived. All three were arrested for Break & Enter. Upon searching the suspects, property from an earlier break-in was discovered.
Twenty-year-old Pierre Flett of the RM of Fisher was charged with Break, Enter and Theft, Break & Enter with Intent to commit an Indictable offence, Disguise with Intent, Possession of Break-in Instruments, eight counts of Failing to comply with his Recognizance. He was remanded in custody to appear this morning in Winnipeg. The two youths – both 14-years-old local area boys were released on a Promise to Appear with conditions; they are scheduled to appear in Peguis on January 27, 2009.
