On July 30, 2009 approximately 1:30am, Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to a complaint of a break and enter to a residence in the 700 block of Poplar Bay.
The resident returned home from a trip to find that the house had been broken into. Police attended the scene and searched the residence, no one was found inside. Undisclosed items were reported stolen by the homeowner and no damage estimate has been provided.
