On December 14, 2008 East Interlake RCMP received a call of an airplane making an emergency landing in Gimli due to smoke on board.
The airplane made a successful landing and the 9 passengers on board were not injured.
The plane was traveling from Winnipeg to Oxford House.
The investigation continues.
