Souris RCMP are investigating the report of a sexual assault which occurred on August 23,2009 during the early hours at the Victoria Park Campground in Souris.
A 17-year-old girl from the area was sexually assaulted. She received medical treatment at the Brandon Regional Hospital and was subsequently released.
A 20-year-old man from Duffield, Alberta is in custody and will be appearing in Brandon Provincial Court on Monday Morning at 10am.
