On August 29, 2009 at about 4:30am, the RCMP Nelson House Detachment were dispatched to a male individual found along a roadway in the Community of Nelson House First Nation.
The male was transported to Thompson General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. His death is being treated as a homicide.
The RCMP Serious Crime Unit and both Thompson and Winnipeg Forensic Identification Section were on scene assisting with this investigation.
