Treherne RCMP are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision which occurred at approximately 10:15am on September 28, 2009.
A 2001 Saturn vehicle was traveling north from the Village of Haywood, when it collided with a westbound Dodge pickup truck traveling on Highway 2.
The 18-year-old driver (local area resident) of the Saturn was pronounced dead at the scene.
Alcohol was not a factor in the collision and the name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The investigation continues.
