Oakbank RCMP are requesting the general public’s assistance in locating a 51-year-old RM of Springfield resident who went missing yesterday afternoon.
Joan Truthwaite was last seen Wednesday morning September 30, 2009, at 4am, at her RM of Springfield home. She spoke to a family member Wednesday afternoon at about 3pm and has not been seen or heard from since.
Local inquiries in the Oakbank and the RM of Springfield area have been unsuccessful in locating her.
Truthwaite may be driving a grey 2006 Hyundai Elantra with Manitoba licence plate BCL 921.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to call local police or the Oakbank RCMP at (204) 444-3847.

The Oakbank RCMP wish to report that Joan Truthwaite has been located. She was located today in the late afternoon by her husband in the Oakbank area. She is in good hands, and is being taken care of by her family.
