The RCMP Headingley Traffic Services is asking motorists to refrain from traveling on the Perimeter Highway and other highways leaving from and surrounding the City of Winnipeg.

Melting snow and below freezing temperatures have caused extremely icy and very dangerous driving conditions.  RCMP detachments along with other emergency services surrounding Winnipeg are extremely busy responding to numerous motor vehicle collisions on the Perimeter Highway and other main highways leaving the City of Winnipeg.

Again, motorists are asked to refrain from traveling on the Perimeter Highway and other highways leaving from the City of Winnipeg.
