At 9:45am on October 9, 2009, Neepawa RCMP and Emergency personnel were called to a scene of a two-vehicle collision just south of Neepawa on Highway 5 near Lake Irwin.
A north bound Ford pick-up truck on Highway 5 collided with a Chevrolet Impala entering the highway from Lake Irwin. The Ford truck hit the driver’s side of the Impala after it failed to stop at the stop sign. The female driver, and only occupant of the car, was seriously injured and taken to hospital where she died a short time later. The driver, and only occupant of the truck, was not injured.
It was snowing heavily at the time, the roads were slippery and slush covered. The weather and road conditions were factors in this collision.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.

Police have released the name of the victim killed in the two vehicle collision as Glenda Faye Bohn (52) of Neepawa.
Investigation is continuing.
