Effective today, Manitoba Health and regional health authorities are starting to make the H1N1 vaccine available to all Manitobans who need or want and will benefit from the vaccine.
Each region will be adapting their clinics based on the supply and demand for vaccine and other geographic and population realities of the regions. All vaccine received to date has been sent to the regions.
As with each expansion of the priority groups, there could be pressures on clinics and people may experience some waits before they receive their H1N1 flu shot.
More information on H1N1 flu is available at www.manitoba.ca/flu or Health Links–Info Santé at 788-8200 or 1-888-315-9257 (toll-free).
