On December 4, 2009, at approximately 6:15pm, Selkirk RCMP received a report of a hit and run involving a cyclist on Highway 9 in the RM of St. Andrews.
A man cycling northbound on Highway 9, near McLennan Road, was struck by a northbound approaching vehicle. The man was treated by paramedics and transported to the Selkirk and District General Hospital with minor injuries and released. The cyclist was unable to obtain a description of the vehicle.
The Selkirk RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance and requests that anyone with information can contact the Selkirk RCMP Detachment at (204)482-3322 or Manitoba Crime Stopper’s at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
