On December 29, 2009 at about 9pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP, Emergency Services and Regional Health Authority Ambulance responded to a house fire in St. Ambroise Manitoba.
On arrival the residence was completely engulfed in flames and heavy smoke and was unable to be saved.
The structure is described as a summer residence and was not occupied at the time of the fire.
The Office of the Fire Commissioner will be attending to assist in the investigation. The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
There were no injuries reported.
Police and fire officials continue to investigate.
