On January 7, 2010, at approximately 3:30am, Carman RCMP responded to the scene of a local business on fire located at 42 2nd Street NE in the town of Carman.
A local residence noticed the TR-S Truck Shop engulfed in flames on his way to work and called 911.
The business, as well as 10 vehicles in or near the building, were completely burnt. The business was closed at the time and no one was injured.
The estimated loss is between 3 to 5 million dollars.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by Carman RCMP and the Fire Commission’s office but is not suspicious in nature.
