Both vehicles were west bound on Highway 1 near Highway 501 when the Cavalier attempted to pass the semi-trailer and lost control, colliding with the side of the trailer. No one was injured.
On the same day, on Highway 200 in the RM of Ritchot, A lone male driving a 2006 Chev automobile slid off the road near St. Adolphe early in the morning after entering a right hand curve. On January 25, 2010, on Highway 311, A 23-year-old male was examined and released from hospital with no injuries after losing control of his 2005 GMC Sierra truck on slick roads east of Niverville and rolling into the ditch. Charges are not being considered and road conditions were contributing factors in the collision. The collision occurred at approximately 6 pm.
Also on January 25, 2010, on Highway 1 in the RM of Tache, an early morning collision occurred near the intersection of Highway 1 and Highway 206, when a 2006 VW Golf ran into the rear of a flat-deck trailer / semi stooped on the Highway due to blizzard like conditions.
