Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible for numerous incidents in Lorette.

Over a three day period, various schools in the community of Lorette were vandalized and or broken into. Ecole Lagimodiere at 361 Senez Street suffered an attempted break in on January 20, 2010, where suspect(s) pushed in a window / screen at the front of the school. No entry was gained and nothing was stolen. On January 21, 2010, a second window panel was broken at the south-east entrance of the school. Again suspect(s) were not identified.

On January 20, 2010, Dawson Trail School at 425 Senez Street was subject of an attempted break in with suspect(s) damaging a metal framed window reaching in and spray painting racial graffiti inside, damaging blinds and throwing items off of nearby shelves. No suspects were identified.

On January 21, 2010, Ecole Lorette Immersion at 475 Senez Street also suffered an attempted break in when a lone suspect removed mesh screens from a window in an attempt to locate an unlocked window. Entry was not gained and no further damage was done to the school.
