Steinbach MLA, Kelvin Goertzen, said he is honoured to have been named Deputy Leader of the P.C. Party of Manitoba.
“The P.C. Party has a rich history in the province and has received strong support from residents of Steinbach, Hanover and Niverville for many years. It’s an honour to be named Deputy Leader,” said Goertzen.
The announcement was made this morning by Party Leader, Hugh McFadyen.
In addition to being named Deputy Leader, Goertzen will continue in his previous roles as the Opposition Justice Critic and Caucus Whip.
As Deputy Leader, Goertzen will take on additional responsibilities representing the Party and Caucus at events in the province and leading the Legislative Caucus when the Party Leader is on duties away from the Legislature.
