James Robert Christopherson of Thompson has been charged with three counts of sexual assault in connection with incidents dating back to October of last year.

On October 12, 2009, Thompson RCMP received a report of sexual assault from an adult female resident of Thompson. The assault allegedly occurred earlier that day at about 6am at a Thompson residence.

On January 19, 2010, RCMP Thompson Detachment received another complaint from two additional adult women residing in Thompson, alleging they had been sexually assaulted on January 15, 2010 at a residence in Thompson.

Investigations into the allegations from the three victims resulted in 45-year-old James Robert Christopherson of Thompson charged with three counts of sexual assault.

On February 5, 2010, James Christopherson  was arrested and remanded in custody.  He is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court in Thompson  February 8, 2010.

The three victims were not physically injured from these incidents.

The investigation continues.
