Shortly after 10am, on March 13, 2010, officers from the Dauphin RCMP Detachment were called to an apartment building in the south end of Dauphin.

A man had been banging on windows and had broken a window and was believed to be inside the apartment. Officers cleared the apartment and determined it hadn’t been entered.

The suspect was located a few minutes later about a block away. The intoxicated man was arrested for mischief. Officers then learned that he had entered in to a recognizance the day before and that one of his conditions was to abstain from alcohol.

25-year-old Brian Joseph Houle, a resident of the Ebb and Flow First Nation, has been charged with mischief and breach of recognizance. Houle has been remanded in custody to appear in Dauphin Court on March 15, 2010.
