On April 20, 2010, at 4pm, Yellowhead RCMP were called to a single vehicle rollover near Menzie, Manitoba.
A 2004 Chevrolet Venture van, traveling eastbound on Highway 45, lost control when it hit the shoulder of the roadway, over corrected and rolled several times before coming to a stop in the ditch. There were three Brandon resident occupants in the vehicle, including a 2-year-old child.
The passenger and child were taken to Health Sciences Center with serious injuries. All occupants of the vehicle were wearing seatbelts including the child in a child seat.
A collision analyst was called and attended the scene.
Alcohol is not a factor in this incident and the investigation is continuing.
