On April 27, 2010, just after 10pm, officers from the RCMP Dauphin Municipal Detachment executed a Search Warrant at a motel in the south end of Dauphin.
Approximately 140 grams of cannabis marijuana was seized from the home. 27-year-old Marty Anthrum Ashley Chartrand of Dauphin, has been charged with trafficking a controlled substance and breach of an undertaking.
Chartrand has been remanded in custody to appear in Provincial Court in Dauphin on April 30, 2010.
This seizure represents several hundred marijuana cigarettes (joints) off the streets of Dauphin and a street value of approximately $2000.
