Canadian Hall of Fame Rock Band Loverboy will headline Steinbach’s second Summer in the City Festival, June 18 and 19, 2010.
Loverboy takes the stage Saturday night as part of the weekend downtown festival, while CCMA award winner, Dean Brody, will headline the Friday night concert.
New for 2010 is the addition of Wonder Shows Midway in downtown Steinbach. The festival will also feature a variety of cultural dishes and carnival food favourites in the Festival of Food, while local artists and artisans will be featured in the Artisans and Crafters Market, and local farmers and producers will be present in the Farmers Market on Saturday.
Steinbach’s annual Sidewalk Sale Days are also taking place the same weekend, which will allow visitors to park the car, walk the sidewalk and take in the deals while sampling great food from local restaurants and vendors and enjoying the rest of the events weekend festivities.
