On August 14, 2010, at about 2:30am, Roblin RCMP along with local EMS responded to a report of an unconscious man lying on Main Street in Roblin, Manitoba.
 
On arrival, police discovered a 22-year-old male resident of Roblin lying on the street suffering from serious head injuries. He was transported to Roblin Hospital and then transferred to Winnipeg where he is reported to be in stable condition.
 
Investigation revealed that the man was seriously assaulted during a fight at the location.
 
20-year-old Michael Rodney Delorme of Roblin, has been charged with aggravated assault, causing disturbance and three counts of breach of probation. Delorme has been remanded into custody and made a first court appearance in Dauphin Provincial Court on August 16.
 
There were no other persons reported injured and no other damages. Alcohol is considered to be a factor.
 
Roblin RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of the Dauphin Major Crimes Unit.
