Carman RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a number of thefts in the rural areas near the town of Elm Creek, Manitoba.

Numerous properties have been broken into this summer and items, mainly farm tools have been stolen. Often the premises are not secured or items of significant value have been left unattended for extended periods of time.

The public is encouraged to remain watchful of suspicious activity and to report the activity to police as soon as possible. Police are also asking property owners to check their unattended properties if they are storing items of value to ensure they have not been a victim of these thefts.

If property owners have been a victim of a break in, Carman RCMP are asking people to report this instances regardless of the value of items taken.
