The Manitoba Rural Adaptation Council (MRAC) is pleased to announce the hiring of Eugene Warwaruk for a one-year term, to replace Kristin Yaworski-Lowdon who is going on maternity leave.

Warwaruk came to MRAC from the Food Development Center in Portage la Prairie, where he was the Business Development Officer. Prior to that, Warwaruk was co-owner of Luxsolé Restaurant & Tapas Lounge in Winnipeg for eight years. Warwaruk, who grew up on a farm near Erickson, has a marketing background and an extensive network that is relevant to the value chain position.
 
“I am very happy to have Eugene join ‘Team MRAC’ as the Value Chain Coordinator for the next year. He brings a solid marketing background and network to the position,” said Ted Eastley, MRAC Executive Director. “His agriculture background and food industry smarts will definitely be an asset for MRAC.”
