Central Plains RCMP have charged a 21-year-old man from Long Plain FN in connection with numerous break, enter and thefts.
On November 11, 2010 at approximately 11:45am, Central Plains RCMP received a report of an attempted theft of an off road vehicle at Long Plain FN, Manitoba.
Police responded, located the suspect and found him in possession of a vehicle that had been stolen.
Subsequent investigation revealed that the suspect was responsible for a number of break and enters, attempted thefts and mischief’s in the RM of Portage la Prairie.
21-year-old Alfred Roulette of Long Plain FN has been remanded in custody and set to appear in Provincial Court on November 22, 2010 in Portage la Prairie to deal with 14 separate charges including a number of break, enter and theft, attempted thefts of motor vehicles among others.
Police continue to investigate.
