On November 25, 2010, shortly after 11:30am, Stonewall RCMP, along with ambulance and fire crews, were dispatched to a two vehicle collision on Highway 6, about 2 miles north of the Perimeter.
RCMP report that a local area woman traveling southbound on highway 6, lost control of her vehicle and slid into the northbound lane, where she collided with a semi-truck.
The woman, believed to be in her 30’s, has since been transported to a Winnipeg hospitalĀ and is currently listed in critical condition. The 32-year-old driver of the truck, also from the area, was not hurt.
RCMP report that the roads were very slippery at that location and this factor is believed to have contributed to the accident.
The investigation continues.
