Two Thompson residents have been charged in connection with a drug seizure earlier this month in Thompson.
On December 4, 2010, Thompson RCMP executed a search warrant on a residence in the Eastwood Area. Police seized a quantity of cocaine, worth approximately $4000 and packaging materials from the residence.
29-year-old Kyle John Richcoon of Thompson, has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and nine counts of breaching of recognizance. Richcoon has been remanded into custody on these charges.
25-year-old Amy Jane Shaw of Thompson, has been charged for possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. Shaw was released on a recognizance for a court appearance on January 21, 2011.
