The Town of Niverville will gear up for a special council meeting as they look toward the future and begin to plan.
From February 15 to 17, the town of Niverville council will hold a long-term strategic planning session.
Mayor Greg Fehr explains that it is prudent for council look far ahead.
“It is council’s intent to focus this year’s planning session on 2020 Vision and look ahead to the future of our community,” says Fehr. “It is with this long term vision in mind that we will see where we are, where we want to be and be able to take calculated steps towards that goal.”
He added that it is very important for council to look further ahead because many of the concerns and challenges faced by the community require steps that can take years.
