Falcon Beach RCMP on behalf of the OPP report that due to a multiple vehicle collision involving three tractor trailer units and two cars, Highway 17 at Provincial Road 673 (Shoal Lake Road) was closed in both directions.

PR 673, Shoal Lake Road is approximately 10 km east of the Manitoba/Ontario border.

RCMP report that no major injuries were sustained in the crash.

At 1:30am this morning, RCMP advised that Highway 17 was opened for one lane traffic. The RCMP and OPP are advising motorists to drive with caution.
