Just after 6pm on December 24, 2010, officers from the Dauphin Municipal RCMP detachment responded to a report that a woman had been assaulted by her boyfriend.
The incident occurred at the hotel where the boyfriend lives.
A 37-year-old Dauphin man has been charged with assault and has been remanded in custody to appear in Provincial Court in Dauphin on December 29, 2010.
RCMP report that the woman was not seriously injured.
