Cross country skiing enthusiasts in Niverville no longer have to travel to find groomed trails for their pleasure.
As of the last week of January, the new cross country ski trails through Hespeler Park in Niverville are open for use. The trail is currently 2.5 kilometers long but there are plans for expansion.
The trail is expected to expand to include a variety of runs throughout the community, and eventually to extend out of town.
