On January 14, 2011, at about 10pm, Powerview RCMP were informed that a male was found at a residence in Little Black River, MB, possessing extensive injuries to his face and body.
Investigation revealed that the victim was kicked, punched and struck with a metal bar by four males after the victim allegedly pulled a knife on one of the accused.
All four males, who are from the community of Little Black River, were located and arrested shortly after the incident for assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.
The victim was transported to the Pine Falls hospital where he was treated and released.
Names of the four accused and the victim are not being released at this time as the matter is still under investigation.
The investigation continues.
