Canada’s largest producer of pigs and its subsidiary pork processing company will take on new names and a new logo beginning February 1, 2011.
Hytek Ltd. will be known as HyLife and Springhill Foods will become HyLife Foods as of April 1, 2011.
The company’s new logo features a wheat stalk surrounded by a blue and green circle.
“‘Hy’ in HyLife signifies our promise of quality and is an echo of our parent company Hytek’s footprint. ‘Life’ evidences food as an essential product,” according to a company communiqué. “Our new logo represents our integrated business brand that begins with a trusted food source and results in a premium pork product that we entrust on your plate.”
