On January 30, 2011, Thompson RCMP received a report that 31-year-old Mary-Anne Dumas of Thompson, and her 20-month-old son Clayton were missing.

Dumas and her son were dropped off on January 27 at the bus depot in Thompson to catch a bus from Thompson to Grand Rapids. At that point Dumas had further travel arrangements to The Pas, ending in Pukatawagan.

Dumas is Aboriginal, with brown hair and brown eyes, approximately 5′ 3″ tall and 145 pounds, and was last seen wearing a purple and black ski jacket and black jeans. Her son Clayton, was wearing a white two-piece ski suit with blue and green stripes, winter boots and a red toque.

Inquiries by family and police have met with negative results in locating Dumas or her son and investigation is continuing.

Thompson RCMP, with the assistance of Grand Rapids RCMP, have located Mary-Anne Dumas and her son at a residence in Grand Rapids. Both are safe at this time.
