On February 8, 2011, at approximately 12:20am, Selkirk RCMP received a report of an armed robbery that occurred at the 7-Eleven convenience store located on Main Street in the City of Selkirk.
A lone male suspect entered the store armed with a knife and demanded money and cigarettes from an employee before fleeing on foot.
The suspect is described as being Aboriginal in appearance, 5’8″ to 5’11” in height, heavy build and wearing a white ball cap with a maple leaf on it, sunglasses, blue jacket, white shoes, blue track pants and a dark coloured glove on their right hand.
There were no injuries sustained during the robbery.
