On February 20, 2011, at 8:30pm, a 21-year-old female victim attended The Pas RCMP Detachment to report that she had just been attacked by a male while she was walking home from a local event in The Pas.
While walking home on Gordon Avenue, she was befriended by a male who attempted to initiate a conversation with the victim. Once the victim turned her back, the male grabbed her and forced her to the ground. The male assailant then pinned the victim to the ground while he attempted to take her pants off. The victim fought back and at one point kneed and kicked the assailant which enabled her to escape.
The assailant is unknown to the victim and police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. The suspect may or may not be a resident of The Pas, however he did inform the victim he was not from the area.
The suspects descriptors are as follow:
• Caucasian with very light skin
• approximately 5’7″
• 160 pounds
• short/shaved blond hair
• green eyes
• mid 20’s
• fresh stitches below the center of his nose
• a strawberry birthmark the size of a quarter and in the shape of a tear drop in front of his left ear
• clear skin with no facial hair
• spoke with a lisp
The suspect was wearing the following clothing:
• an over-sized grey sweater with the “Nike” lettering and symbol in lime green
• an orange scarf
• dark loose fitting jeans
• white runners
