Border security officials from both sides of the Canadian-American border marked the grand opening of the Red River Integrated Border Enforcement Team’s new joint intelligence office located in Altona, Manitoba.

On October 3, 2011, just after 1pm, Altona RCMP as well as local emergency services were dispatched to the scene of a fatal motor vehicle collision near Altona, Manitoba.

In the previous week, Altona Detachment has received two reports of email accounts being hijacked with requests to forward money for an emergent situation.

On December 21, 2010, at about 9am, Altona RCMP as well as local Emergency Services and EMS were dispatched to the scene of a two vehicle, head-on collision on Highway 201, about 1 mile east of Altona.

At 7:35am, September 14, 2010, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an accident at the junction of Road 1 North (Post Road) and Highway 30.

On July 5, 2009 around 8:00 PM Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to a call of a man lying on the shoulder of the highway on Rd 34 N south of Austin, MB.

Thirty-year-old Douglas James Sinclair of Winnipeg has now been formerly charged with 21 criminal code charges in relations with various break ins and theft related offences from four Police Departments.
