News - Armed Robbery

RCMP are looking to the public for assistance in connection with numerous robberies during January of this year.

On January 29, 2010, at approximately 10pm, Stonewall RCMP were advised of an armed robbery that took place at the Red Sun Gas Station and Smoke Shop in the RM of Rosser.

On January 27, 2010, at approximately 3:35am, Stonewall RCMP received a report of an attempted armed robbery at the Red Sun Gas Bar on Highway 236 in the RM of Rosser.

On January 23, 2010, at approximately 3:30am, Stonewall RCMP were advised of an armed robbery that took place at the Red Sun Gas Station and Smoke Shop in the RM of Rosser.

RCMP in Steinbach have charged a male subject and issued an arrest warrant for a female subject in relation to a robbery which occurred at that Le Depanneur Convenience Store in La Broquerie on January 21, 2010.

On January 21, 2010, at around 7pm, members of the Steinbach RCMP Detachment responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Le Depaneur Convenience Store in La Broquerie.

On January 16, 2010, at approximately 8:20pm, Selkirk RCMP received a report of an armed robbery at a gas station located on Main Street in the City of Selkirk.

On January 18, 2010, at 12:44am, Headingley RCMP Detachment were dispatched to an armed robbery at the Arboc Smoke Shop situated on the Trans Canada Highway in Headingley.

On December 20, 2009, around 8:15pm, Norway House RCMP received a complaint of a gun shot in the Rossville area of Norway House.

On December 15, 2009, at about 9:30pm, RCMP Gypsumville Detachment were dispatched to a robbery where shots were fired at Cindy’s Smoke Shop on Highway 6, near the Community of Fairford First Nation.
