On March 26, 2010 at about 3:30am, Oakbank RCMP as well as local Emergency Services and EMS were dispatched to the scene of a residential structure fire on Pleasant Road in the RM of Springfield.
On January 1, 2010 at about 5am, the God’s Lake Narrows RCMP Detachment were dispatched to a house fire on the God’s Lake Narrows First Nation.
