A Mitchell youth and a Blumenort youth are facing assault charges after being arrested by police this past week.

A Winnipeg police officer is facing assault charges in a domestic dispute incident that occurred this past week.

On January 1, 2013, at 5pm, Russell RCMP were informed of a violent patient at the Russell Health Centre. RCMP responded within minutes and found a 43-year-old Waywayseecappo man threatening hospital staff and patients.

On December 10, 2012, at about 2:30pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP were advised of an assault with a weapon that had occurred earlier in the afternoon at the MacGregor Collegiate Institute.

On December 2, 2012, at about 4am, Prairie Mountain area RCMP officers were dispatched to a report of a serious assault in St. Lazare.

On September 30, 2012, at about 4pm, Thompson RCMP were advised of a stabbing at a Thompson Hotel.

Just before 3am on September 23, 2012, Portage la Prairie RCMP were called to a residence in Portage la Prairie, where it was reported that a male had been assaulted with a weapon.

An investigation led by the Lac du Bonnet RCMP Detachment, following allegations of a sexual assault, resulted in a Pinawa man being charged.

On August 23, 2012, at 12:15am, Thompson RCMP received a complaint of a female being assaulted on Thompson Drive in the area between the Shell Station and Thompson General Hospital.

RCMP have charged two individuals in relation to an assault incident that occurred earlier this month in the town of Swan River.
