Manitoba RCMP have checked over 600 vehicles in the first weekend of the Holiday Check Stop program.
“D” Division RCMP will begin their annual Holiday Check Stop Program on December 3, 2010 and will continue until midnight on January 2, 2011.
RCMP Members will once again be conducting checkstops throughout the province in an effort to promote safe driving this holiday season.
The final week of the RCMP Christmas Selective Traffic Enforcement / Checkstop program from December 28, 2009 to January 4, 2010 resulted in numerous charges.
The third week of the RCMP Christmas Checkstop program from December 21, 2009 to December 27, 2009 has resulted in numerous charges.
The second week of the RCMP Christmas Checkstop program from December 14, 2009, to December 20, 2009 has resulted in numerous charges.
The first week of the RCMP Christmas Checkstop program from December 4, 2009 to December 13, 2009 has resulted in numerous charges.
“D” Division RCMP advises that the 2009 Christmas Checkstop program will commence on Friday, December 4, 2009 and continue to Sunday, January 4, 2010.
Portage la Prairie RCMP Traffic Services, in partnership with Manitoba Public Insurance, conducted roadside safety stops this past weekend.
During the August long weekend RCMP Grand Marais Community Detachment conducted an Manitoba Public Insurance Checkstop throughout Grand Marais, Grand Beach Provincial Park, RM of Alexander and the RM of St. Clement’s.
