On April 15, 2014, at approximately 6pm, Thompson RCMP responded to a call that a child had been mauled by two dogs in Lac Brochet, Manitoba.
On March 16, 2014, just before 3:30pm, Oakbank RCMP responded to a call that a child had been mauled by two dogs in the RM of Springfield.
On May 30, 2012, at 6am, Thompson RCMP Detachment members along with Fire and EMS were dispatched in the 100 Block of Thompson Drive North in the City of Thompson where a man was found deceased outside a local place of worship.

On August 5, 2010, Thompson RCMP received a report of a missing person from Tataskweyak Cree Nation, Manitoba.
RCMP Stonewall Detachment continued their efforts to locate Richard Racicot of Stonewall where he was last seen in the community of Stony Mountain.
On January 21, 2010, at 7am, Thompson RCMP were notified of a head-on traffic collision that occurred approximately two kilometres north of Thompson on Highway 391.
On January 2, 2010, shortly after 4am, the RCMP Shamattawa Detachment members were dispatched to a house fire on Riverside Road in the community of Shamattawa.
