On April 27, 2010, just after 10pm, officers from the RCMP Dauphin Municipal Detachment executed a Search Warrant at a motel in the south end of Dauphin.

On April 28, 2010, members of the Steinbach RCMP and the Ste. Anne Police Department executed a search warrant at residence on Road 45 North in the RM of Ste. Anne.

Two Manitoba men have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking after a traffic stop in Dauphin this past weekend.

People convicted of drug trafficking who drove a motor vehicle to commit the offence would face suspensions of their licence to drive under a proposed new provision of the Highway Traffic Act introduced by Attorney General Andrew Swan.
