On May 14, 2015, Brandon RCMP received a report of a break and enter at a workshop in the RM of Elton, seven miles northeast of Brandon. Stolen in this incident were two red Kawasaki Brute Force ATVs and a black Hot Rod air compressor.
Brandon RCMP are investigating the report of the poisoning of hundreds of honey producing bee hives resulting in thousands of dead bees and a substantial financial loss.
Sometime between September 3 and 9, 2014, a Gallagher electric fencer was stolen from a rural location 11 miles north of Brandon in the RM of Elton.
A large poultry barn at the Hillside Hutterite colony, in the RM of Elton, was destroyed by fire earlier this week.
On March 16, 2011, at 8:05am, Brandon RCMP as well as the Rivers and Rapid City Fire departments were dispatched to a structure fire at Agromec Industries, situated approximately 6 km east of Rivers, in the RM of Elton.
On September 20, 2009, Carberry RCMP officers, with assistance from Brandon and Neepawa RCMP officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the Rural Municipality of Elton.
At approximately 8:30am, December 31, 2008 Brandon RCMP members along with Brandon City Fire Department responded to a barn fire that occurred near Provincial Route 270 in the RM of Elton.
Between December 24th and 25th, 2008 in the RM of Elton at a farm located just off of Highway 25, unknown suspects broke into a garage and stole a three point black hitch blade and a Farm King three point hitch red rotary mower.
