At approximately 5:50am on July 3, 2016, officers from the Selkirk RCMP, along with the Selkirk Fire Department and EMS, were dispatched to a house fire on the 700 block of McLean Avenue in Selkirk, Manitoba.
On August 7, 2015 shortly after 9am, Virden RCMP received a report of a residential fire following an explosion at a house on Thompson Place in Virden, Manitoba.
On July 21, 2012, at about 3pm, Gimli RCMP and local emergency services were dispatched to a report of an explosion on a boat at the Gimli Harbor.

Emergency services responded to a methane gas explosion in a hog barn in the RM of Ritchot this past Thursday evening, shortly after 5:30pm.
